developing new synthetic methodologies for generating new heterocyclic molecules followed by their phenotypic screening.
developing various strategies for C-H activation.
target based drug discovery research involving malaria, type-II diabetes and cancer.
diversity oriented synthesis, phenotypic screening and their target identification.
Synthetic methodologies
We focus on developing new synthetic strategies to develop known and novel heterocycles.
TARGET BASED PROJECTS-CANCER, MALARIA AND DIABETES
One of the key areas of our research is developing small molecules for target based projects involving malaria, cancer and type 2 diabetes
C-H activation
C-H activation reactions are one of our primary focuses in our research. We use diverse metal catalysts and metal oxide based nanocatalysts to facilitate C-H activation in aromatic and heteroaromatic systems.
diversity oriented synthesis
Developed various DOS based libraries followed by their phenotypic screening
